From October 26 to 27, IT Park Uzbekistan organized trainings and practical workshops in the Surkhandarya region as part of the Startup Roadshow project aimed at developing the startup ecosystem, attracting youth to entrepreneurship, and supporting promising startup ideas.

Local specialists, students, and young people with startup ideas participated in events held over two days in Termez, Kumkurgan, Shurchi, and Denau districts.

A seminar dedicated to the startup ecosystem and venture investments was held in Termez

A special seminar-training was organized in the city of Termez for advisors of district khokims on the development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

During the seminar, the main stages of creating a startup, mechanisms for the development of innovative entrepreneurship, business angels and principles of work of venture funds were discussed.

Participants also gained practical knowledge on presenting startup projects to investors, preparing to attract investment, identifying promising ideas, and developing them.

In three districts, young people learned the practical stages of creating a startup.

As part of the Startup RoadshowIn the Kumkurgan, Shurchi, and Denau districts trainings were held for students of specialized schools, technical schools, higher educational institutions and IT training centers, as well as for young people with startup ideas.

During the training sessions, participants acquired knowledge and skills in the following areas:

• From idea to product: forming a startup idea, identifying a problem, creating an MVP, and finding the first customers;
• Pitching: preparing a startup presentation, explaining the project's value, and effectively communicating it to investors and potential partners;
• Practical tips: presenting their startup projects to experts, receiving feedback, and determining the next stages of development.

The trainings were organized in an interactive format, where participants had the opportunity to get answers to their questions, discuss their ideas and get acquainted with the practical experience of specialists.

Promising startup ideas will be supported in the next stages.

During the event, participants were presented with educational materials, books, video lessons, resources on best international practices, as well as sample templates of necessary documents that can be used in the creation and development of a startup.

Also, the authors of promising startup ideas identified during the trainingsInvolvement in ideathons and incubation programs organized by IT Park Uzbekistan is being scheduled. This creates additional opportunities for young people to develop their ideas, create their first products, and enter the startup ecosystem.

Startup Roadshow project aims to foster a culture of innovative entrepreneurship in the regions, increase youth interest in creating startups, and support the transformation of local ideas into practical projects.

The next stage of the project will continue in the Namangan region.
